The 2013 Round Table Ball at Lower Chilstone Court just outside Hereford was the culmination of nearly 12 months hard work by the Hereford Club.
On a balmy Saturday evening the 300 guests were treated to Pimms and canapés before sitting down to feast of food and entertainment including a parachute jump from Her Majesty’s British Army, a guard of honour and an 11 piece band and disco.
“We have raised an outstanding £20,000 for local charitable causes which was made possible through the generosity of our invited guests and local businesses who donated an array of auction prizes” commented Andrew Johnson Chairman of Hereford City Round Table.
“The atmosphere throughout the evening was electric and Round Table members and our guests danced well into the early hours of Sunday morning. The success of the evening was in no small part down to the hard work of the fantastic group of Round Table members in the Hereford Club who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had an evening to remember.” Andrew continued to say.
The culmination of the evening was the Auction which included such treats as a Mini for a week, a pair of tickets to Wembley and a day at Phil Collins Rally Experience, the auction raised nearly £8,000.
